New!  The testing is finally complete, and RMT has selected a quality internet web camera to offer to our customers.  This Panasonic indoor camera has proven stable in all situations.  With this steer-able webcam, many things are are possible :

• View your Chelan home from anywhere on the Internet with your password!
• Set the camera on a counter or desk where you can remotely view your home, or the Lake out the window!  Check the weather before your trip.
• Move the camera around the house for the best view or security position, its wireless.
• Use it as a Pet cam, to check in on the dog or cat from work.
• Lockup the cabin for the season, and with the right setup, receive email alerts when images are automatically captured  because of a triggering event.

This Panasonic camera has many features that make it a worthy Rabbit Meadows offering:

• Move the camera +/- 50 degrees from center, down 10 degrees and up 40!
• No special software required for remote Internet viewing (jpg, mjpg format).
• Wired or Wireless network connection.
• Digital zoom( IE required)
• Low light color mode works well down to 1 lux. 
• Motion sensor and thermal sensor for security applications¹.

Setting up a web camera can be a daunting task.  Getting the networking and Internet ports right for remote access  can be quite a task, that's why we don't just sell the hardware, but we offer a package that gets the job done!  With our WebCam package you get:

• The Panasonic indoor wireless webcam.
• Receive your own personalized easy to remember Internet name for your camera!  For example, smith.rmtcam.net, ed.rmtcam.net, or ab.rmtcam.net.  Another (URL) is provided for direct local connection.
• Wireless camera and your router communicating over your encrypted wireless network.
• Your wireless router is changed to allow outside access to the webcam
• Internet connectivity test to your home camera.
• We create up to 5 user/password pairs for remote access on one of three security levels.
• A Rabbit Meadows network expert delivers your webcam and spends an hour setting it up and answering all your questions.
